earlier this week buzz left for another business trip, so we snuck in dinner and drinks at a hotel here in waikiki. it's still funny to me, being able to go out during the week without a curfew. i guess that's what happens when you get married at 18 and move straight from your parent's house to your own!
i pulled this maxi dress out of my closet the other day after nearly forgetting about it's existence {poor thing probably has self esteem issues} for the last several months. finding simple little ways to pull an outfit together with it is almost as fun as actually bringing home a new dress!
when buzz is gone i always have a hard time falling asleep at night. between my mind going a million miles per hour, an empty bed, and a puppy that now thinks she is free of responsibility, it gets rough. this week i decided to bust out the tea to help calm my nerves before bed and it actually worked! {don't worry i didn't have breakfast tea like the tin states, but rather chamomoile, much much more calming!}
i also dug up this little treaure the other day. and by dug up i mean pulled the car over and shoved it in the back seat. it needs a good chunk of love, but it goes perfectly with the dresser i brought home awhile back. mid-century modern for the win!
be sure to head on over to lindsay's blog to link up to the party and share how your week went!
