post no. 330 -- 34 miles for margaritas

yesterday we headed up to the north shore with our friends casey and kai, for an afternoon double date in hale'iwa. jack even tagged along for the ride and left overs. kai recommended this homestyle restaurant cholo's, with some apparently tasty margarita treats. the 21 and over crowd {aka everyone but me} thoroughly enjoyed the li hing mui blended drinks, while i sipped away on my dr. pepper. i love lazy weekends when we can get out with friends and go on our little adventures around the island. going up in the late afternoon vs. mid-day gave us great views of the sunset on the ride back. so thumbs up to that!

pretty much a great end to a weekend of horrible duty schedules, chores, and netflix nights on the sofa.

what were you up to this weekend?
