For the last few days I have been closed up in the house battling a head cold. It seemed to start dully on Friday and slowly progress throughout this week. Being home the last couple of days has given me tons of time to do nothing but rest and watch television. While flipping through the channels over the weekend I discovered this awesome new docu-drama about the Kennedy family on Reelz. For those of you who have DirecTV that's channel 236. I love it. I set our DVR and everything.
I have always kind of been obsessed with the 1960's, mainly it's post modern architecture, but this has given me new reason for adoration. Jackie Kennedy, portrayed by Katie Holmes in The Kennedys, is, well there are no real words to describe her. The way she pulls herself together, both with fashion and in her personal and family matters, makes me just go wow.
Here are some little inspiration outfits that remind me of a bit more modern twist on Jackie's style. Boat neck tops, cropped and crisp pants, and head scarves galore, I'm pretty sure her style will live on forever.
